Description

Shrimp, dry rubbed with spices and sauteed in olive oil and butter.

Ingredients

1 pound raw shrimp (I used raw peeled and deveined Jumbo shrimp) 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon Kosher salt ½ teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoon butter

Instructions

In a medium sized bowl add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and salt & pepper and mix to combine. Add shrimp and gently toss till shrimp is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Over medium heat coat the bottom of a frying pan with the olive oil, add the butter, once butter has melted add the shrimp and saute for about 3 minutes, or until the tip of the tail is slightly opaque and the edges are slightly pink and slightly browned, turn shrimp over and continue to saute for an additional 3 minutes. Serve hot with cocktail sauce or as is.

Serves

Serving size will depend upon what size shrimp you use. If using jumbo shrimp you should get 4 servings when used as an entree.
